Glossary

Agent Instinct

The behavioral rules governing each node in the governance simulation. Three core instincts — separation (avoid risky neighbors), alignment (follow mature leaders), cohesion (cluster with compliant teammates) — derived from swarm intelligence research and adapted for governance analysis.

Agentic AI

Artificial intelligence systems that operate with delegated authority to take actions within defined boundaries.

Enterprise Governance Assessment

The primary OntoRamp engagement. A structured assessment of an organization’s governance posture across six dimensions, with optional Digital Transformation Blueprint for target-state planning. Delivered in days.

Governance integrity

The degree to which an organization’s stated governance intent is structurally enforced across its operations.

Governance posture

The current configuration of an organization’s governance structure across the six maturity dimensions, at a point in time.

Governance Physics Engine

OntoRamp’s proprietary computational engine that models governance properties as physical forces. Risk generates repulsion. Compliance generates attraction. Maturity generates alignment. 800 autonomous agents evaluate your architecture against 70 governance laws. The resulting simulation reveals governance posture through emergent behavior, not static scoring.

Governance Assessment Report (GAR)

The first output artifact of an assessment. Maps current governance posture in the five-tier maturity vocabulary.

Governance Simulation

A real-time 3D simulation where thousands of autonomous agents represent architecture entities. Agent behavior is parameterized by governance data — ten semantic forces derived from structural awareness, decision integrity, execution coherence, risk governance, identity stability, and agentic readiness.

Transformation Roadmap (TR)

The third output artifact of an assessment. A sequenced plan of governance changes required to reach a target maturity tier.

Governance vocabulary

The five-tier Governance Ladder vocabulary used in all OntoRamp communications: Awareness, Structured Governance, Harmonized Governance, Reflexive Governance, Harmonic Governance.

Governance Graph

The organizational knowledge graph that powers OntoRamp assessments. Organizes architecture artifacts across seven governance domains.

Readiness Certificate

The second output artifact of a Governance Readiness Assessment. Certifies whether the current governance structure can sustain a specified transformation.

Transformation intent

The organizational objective that a governance assessment is scoped to — the transformation the organization is planning or executing.
